In October 2009 we took a wonderful relaxing trip to the former Yugoslavia which is now Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia.
We started in Dubrovnik in southern Croatia
Back in Croatia, our next stop was Split to see Diocletians palace
Next it was the picturesque town of Rovinj in the Istrian peninsula
We moved on to Mostar in Bosnia
Next we went to Opatija (the Croatian Riviera)
Next it was the town of Pula in the Istrian peninsula. There is an amphitheater there that looks much like the colosseum in Rome and is in quite good condition.
The Postojnska Caves in Slovenia were the next stop.
